Dr. Olivia Yaung serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services for El Segundo Unified School District, where she leads districtwide efforts to strengthen instructional systems, leadership capacity, and innovative learning opportunities for students. Throughout her career, she has served communities across both Los Angeles and Orange Counties, working in settings that range from small, high-performing districts to large, diverse urban school systems. Her leadership focuses on improving student outcomes and expanding college and career readiness opportunities while building strong professional learning cultures. She has a proven record of closing achievement gaps, strengthening community engagement, and leading with an equity-centered approach that ensures systems and opportunities support the success of all students. Dr. Yaung is passionate about empowering educators and developing leadership capacity so that schools and districts can navigate complexity with clarity, collaboration, and a steadfast focus on student success.
