About me
Megan Hsu is a school district administrator in the Bay Area and the founder of Edumated: Education Automated, which helps educators and leaders use AI and automation to change how schools run. She leads special education programs by day and builds the infrastructure she wishes existed by night, developing applications and training programs that streamline the work of managing people, documentation, meetings, and decisions across complex school systems. Her years of classroom teaching, program leadership, and hands-on systems design give her a vantage point that spans both sides of the admin table.
Megan is a frequent presenter on AI in education. She has spoken at ACSA Women in School Leadership, ACSA Every Child Counts, CAAPLE Con, the CEC Convention, the CASE Conference, and an international conference at IASE in Bhutan. She builds through hackathons and has won twice with AI Social Stories and BeastBlend. She believes the future of education will be shaped by the educators and leaders who design the systems they need themselves.
