About me
Dr. Renae Bryant serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services at Gorman Learning Charter Network working collaboratively with scholars, staff, families and communities to increase student access, opportunity, equity and success. With over twenty years in education, Renae has served as a district, site and teacher leader, administrator, coach, and started her career as a bilingual special education instructional assistant. She serves as an adjunct professor for the Educational Leadership Doctoral Program at the University of La Verne. She is the host of the weekly The Your Story Matters Podcast. She is the author of The Ed Branding Book: How to Build Educational Leadership with Social Influence (2024). Dr. Bryant earned her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership at the University of La Verne in 2017. She completed the Stanford EdLEADers Program, AASA/USC Urban Superintendents Academy and the Azusa Pacific University Next Generation Superintendents Academy. She was named 2019 ACSA Region 17 Valuing Diversity Administrator of the Year, 2022 MOSAIC Inclusivity Awardee, and in 2023 was honored with two Women of Distinction Awards: 34th Senate District Senator Thomas J. Umberg and one by 67th Assembly District Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva. Renae was named the 2024 CABE District Administrator of the Year and National 2024 Leading While Female Icon National Award. She was honored with the Quantum Impact Courageous Leadership Award in 2025.
