Dr. Adaina Brown is an accomplished district leader and Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services in Fullerton School District, where she leads systemwide efforts to improve student achievement, strengthen instructional coherence, and advance equity across 20 schools. Under her leadership, the district has achieved significant academic growth, including top-tier performance in California and accelerated outcomes for multilingual learners.
With prior experience as a Local District Superintendent in Los Angeles Unified School District, serving over 70,000 students, Dr. Brown has led large-scale systems change, developed high-impact instructional frameworks, and built leadership capacity at all levels. She is widely recognized for her work in designing collaborative inquiry cycles, aligning instruction, and creating data-driven systems that reduce variability and improve outcomes for historically underserved students.
A recipient of the CAAASA Outstanding Leadership in Education Award and ACSA Principal of the Year, Dr. Brown is also an adjunct faculty member and mentor to aspiring leaders. She is passionate about empowering women in leadership to use their voice, lead with courage, and take decisive action to transform systems in the service of students.
